This massive stadium is like a spaceship in the desert. It was designed as a truly multi-purpose facility with excellent seating for sporting events, especially ideal for NFL games. There are no obstructed view seats in the stadium. The University of Pheonix Stadium has been voted “Best NFL Facility” by Street & Smith’s Sports
The stadium has 88 luxury lofts. almost 7,400 Club Seats, and two 39,000 sq. foot Club Lounges. The Luxury lofts are large suites featuring a bar and food-service area, large padded seats with drink tables in front, a long counter with bar stools, a separate livingroom type space, with overstuffed chairs and couches and big-screen televisions and another lounge area with bar, tables and stools. The Luxury Lofts also include preferred parking, private entrance and exclusive restrooms. Each “loft” has between 16-20 seats. There are also three “party suites” that seat approximately 120 each! Before you set your sights on seats in one of the Lofts, keep in mind that their lofts from sell between $65,000 and $125,000 per season,
The luxurious Club Level have wider seats, with preferred parking, private entrances, and comfortable club lounges with several two-story spaces, lush comfortable seating, multiple TV monitors, upgraded food and beverage and exclusive restrooms.
The stadium seating capacity can be expanded by 9,600 for the NFL Playoff games or the Super Bowl by adding risers and ganged, portable folding seats.
The endzone area on the side of the facility where the mobile turf moves in and out of the facility can be expanded to accommodate the additional
fans.
There are plenty of concession stands throughout the stadium with above average food and beverages, of course all at a premium price. There are 77 Public Restrooms; 30 Men’s, 35 Women’s and 12 for Family.
We have been to the stadium many times for NFL games. I have to admit I have not had the luxury of viewing a game from one of the Lofts.
We have although sat in several other sections. Once we sat down in the lower level (100 level) which is on the 40 yard line and had excellent views of the entire field and the large scoreboard. We alo have sat in section 403 and again had great seats. We had an amazing view of the entire field, which is surprising because this is a corner section. The only negative about this section is that you can not see the large scoreboard and have to rely on the very small screen at the opposite end. My favorite over all was section 119. We sat in the very last row. We have a perfect view of the field and the large scoreboard on the far end of the field.
Parking:
If you have season tickets, it sure is nice parking before the game in the W or Orange lots where the lawn is. Not so nice getting out.
The school busses in the stadium parking lot that takes you near the stadium which is very nice. You can pretty much tailgate and drink beers anywhere and not have to worry about walking all the way to the stadium. The stadium also has a well run bus service that gets you to and from the Brown. Definitely a lot easier getting out of that lot.
